How to Make Your Own Weighted Blanket

The benefits of weighted blankets have been highlighted a lot recently. It can be a real godsend to those with Autism, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and other similar disorders.

However, even if you don’t have any of these issues, using a weighted blanket can help you relax and sleep better. In fact, now that I have one, I really can’t fall asleep without it.

While an inanimate object cannot be a replacement for human touch, there is certainly something special about a nice weighted blanket. It comforts you and makes you feel secure.

When I am snugly tucked inside my blanket at night, I often think that it’s like a warm hug that you just don’t want to let go of.

Following this tutorial, I was able to create a lovely blanket that isn’t only a pleasure to look at but is also super comfortable to be inside.
